What It Is

The Community Feed is the announcement channel inside PANTA OS. Here two kinds of updates are published: Platform Updates about PANTA OS itself, and Company Updates about your organization. Every user with workspace access can read the feed and like individual posts. Company Updates can be drafted by admins. Unlike a typical social feed, the Community Feed is read first for end users. Company Updates are created exclusively by administrators through the Admin Panel under Community Feed. There are no comments, no mentions, and no user posts. Users can like posts and pin posts relevant to them.

Why It Matters

Important AI announcements should not get lost in email or chat. The Community Feed gives them a dedicated home inside the same workspace where users already work, with a structure that separates platform news from company news.

A single source for announcements

Platform updates and company news live in one place, inside the workspace where users already are. No second tool, no separate email thread.

Audience targeting

Each post can be targeted to all users or to specific teams. Marketing only updates do not reach Finance, and vice versa.

Clear separation of topics

Two top level post types and four tabs keep platform news, company news, and pinned highlights from blending together.

Lightweight engagement

Likes give administrators a signal of what resonates without turning the feed into a discussion thread.

How To Use It

Read the feed (every user)

Open Community

Click Community in the sidebar.

Switch between the four tabs

Latest shows the most recent posts. Pinned shows the pinned posts. Company shows company specific updates. Platform shows PANTA OS platform updates.

Read a post

Posts are rendered with rich text and optional embedded media.

Like a post

Click the like icon to acknowledge the post. You can also pin posts relevant to you.

Publish a post (administrators only)

Open the Admin Panel

Click Admin at the bottom of the sidebar.

Open Community Feed

Switch to the Community Feed tab in the tab bar.

Create a new post

Click Create new post. A modal opens with Post title, Post type, Content, and Audience fields.

Pick the post type

Post type offers one option: Company Update. Platform Updates are published only by the PANTA OS team.

Write the content

Use the rich text editor. Formatting options include bold, italic, strikethrough, code, headings (H1, H2, H3), lists, quotes, links, images, embedded media, and alignment.

Pick the audience

Audience controls who sees the post. Choose All users to reach everyone, or pick specific teams (for example Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal). Multiple teams can be selected at once.

Publish or save as draft

Click Publish to publish immediately, or Save as draft to keep the post as a draft for later. Published posts can still be edited or removed afterwards by administrators.

The Four Tabs

Latest

All posts ordered by recency. The default view when opening Community.

Pinned

Posts pinned for sustained visibility. Administrators can pin posts, and users can pin posts relevant to them. Pinned posts stay at the top of this tab independently of their age.

Company

Posts marked as Company Updates. Organization specific news, internal announcements, team updates.

Platform

Posts marked as Platform Updates. News about PANTA OS itself: new features, fixes, and changes that affect how the platform works.

Key Settings or Options

Post types

Administrators create Company Updates, which appear in the Company tab. Platform Updates are published by the PANTA team.

Audience targeting

Audience routes each post to specific teams or to all users. Users only see posts targeted to a group they belong to.

Rich text editor

Headings, lists, quotes, code, links, alignment. Plus images and embedded media through the Add media action.

Drafts

Posts can be saved as drafts before publishing. Draft posts are not visible to end users.

Edit and remove

Administrators can edit or remove a post after publication. End users see the updated content the next time they load the feed.

Likes

A lightweight reaction to a post. There are no comments, no other reaction types, and no mentions.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Use audience targeting when an announcement is not universally relevant. A Finance only update on the Latest tab of every other team is noise.
  • Pin sparingly. Pinned posts lose their value if every post is pinned.
  • Save longer announcements as a draft first. The editor is rich text, but writing in place under time pressure rarely produces the cleanest copy.
The Community Feed is a read first channel for end users. If you want two way conversation, use chat. If you want company wide visibility for a fixed message, use Community.
